FitTask
Terms of Use
Last updated: 18 October 2026
By using FitTask you accept these terms. Please read them – they are short and written in plain language.
1. What FitTask is
FitTask is a free app (web, Android, Wear OS) that connects clients who train with trainers and lets them plan and track training, nutrition and progress. The project is currently in closed beta testing.
2. Your account
- You need an account to use FitTask. The information you provide must be accurate, and you are responsible for keeping your password safe.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. If you suspect misuse, tell us right away.
- The app is intended for people aged 16 and over.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app settings.
3. Clients and trainers
- A client searches for trainers by name and sends a collaboration request; the collaboration begins only once the trainer accepts.
- A client can have one active trainer at a time. Either side can end the collaboration.
- Trainers are independent users, not employees or representatives of FitTask. We do not verify their qualifications and do not guarantee their advice.
- The relationship between client and trainer (including any fee for the trainer’s services) is solely between them; FitTask does not charge for or mediate payments.
4. Health and safety
FitTask is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Content in the app (exercises, plans, trainer recommendations, calculations) is for information and motivation only.
Consult a doctor before starting or changing an exercise or nutrition programme, especially if you have a health condition, an injury, or are pregnant. Train within your abilities and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort.
Exercise carries a risk of injury; you use it at your own risk.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the app for unlawful purposes or to harass other users,
- post content that is offensive, false or infringes others’ rights,
- impersonate another person or falsely present yourself as a qualified trainer,
- try to gain unauthorised access to the system or others’ data, disrupt the service, or scrape data in bulk,
- share access to your account with others.
We may restrict or close an account that breaks these rules.
6. Your content
The data and content you enter (workouts, notes, messages, measurements, etc.) remain yours. You only grant us permission to store it and show it to those you allow, as far as needed to run the service. How we process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Free service and beta testing
- FitTask is free for now, with no subscriptions or in-app payments.
- The app is in beta and provided “as is”: there may be bugs, downtime or feature changes, and data may be lost. We recommend exporting your data from time to time.
- We may change, limit or discontinue part or all of the service, with reasonable notice where possible.
8. Suggestions for supporting the project
FitTask is free for now. If you have a suggestion on how to support us, contact us through the support form. Sending a suggestion creates no obligation and no right to compensation or extra features.
9. Intellectual property
The app, the FitTask name, logo and design are ours or used under licence. You may not copy, modify or distribute them without permission. The exercise catalogue and food databases may come from third parties under their own licences.
10. Limitation of liability
You use FitTask entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FitTask is not liable for any damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the app, including injuries from following a plan in the app, trainer advice, data loss or downtime.
11. Termination
You can stop using FitTask by deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or endangers others.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will notify you of material changes in the app or by e-mail; continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
